Campsite Closed

(last updated 18th March 2020)

In relation to the spread of the Corona Virus, Britchcombe Farm Campsite has reluctantly taken the difficult decision to close the campsite at this time.

We hope that we will be able to open again for the summer, following further government advice, and will keep you updated via the website.

We will be in touch with all customers to offer a full refund of any deposits already received.

FURTHER UPDATES AND INFORMATION WILL BE ADDED HERE - so please check back for further information

Bookings

We accept bookings by email or telephone.

The full amount of your booking will be due on arrival - please note, we only accept CASH or CHEQUES.

Please note: we do NOT allow 18th and 21st birthday parties, stag/hen parties, or other party groups.

Camping

We have a number of fields for tent pitches suitable for any size of tent.

  • £8 per person (age 15 and upwards) per night
  • £5 per child (age 5 - 14) per night
  • Under 5's stay free

No under 18s without accompanying parent/guardian staying with them overnight.

Caravan Pitches

Caravan pitches are charged the same as the camping rate.
(NB: we no longer offer electricity hookups.)

Britchcombe is a working farm and there are no formal pitches. You must be prepared to level your caravan yourself.

ARRIVAL DETAILS:
Last arrival is 8pm, so we respectfully ask that all campers arrive and pay by 8pm, so please allow time for roadworks, traffic, accidents etc in your travel plans, particularly on busy Fridays!
We only accept CASH & CHEQUES - so please ensure you bring payment with you, as the nearest cash point is a fair few miles away!
Camping and Caravan enquiries and bookings can be made by emailing campsite@britchcombefarm.co.uk or by telephone on +44 (0)1367 821022 (between 10am and 5pm).

Tipis & Other

  • 18 foot Tipis - £80 per night each
  • 1 x Shepherds Hut - £50 per night (sleeps 2)
  • NB:- £25 deposit required for all Tipi bookings.

The tipis are housed on raised wooden platforms (approximately 6 inches high) and do not contain any furniture so it is important to come prepared for a comfortable stay.

We recommend bringing some bedding (mats, sleeping bags etc), some form of lighting, any additional chairs and anything else you would on a normal camping trip (apart from the tent!)
